Taken on Thursday 8th of May at 10:06am on one of my walks around the city centre.
Most of my candid shots are taken with the long end of my Sigma zoom, which means that many would consider them not to be true street photography, in the classic sense of the words. In this case, however, I was in true street photography mode, shooting quickly with the wide end of the zoom.
George St, by the way, is the centre's main thoroughfare. Keep walking straight ahead for a few blocks down the road and out of the picture, (as I was doing at the time), and you'll get to the Opera House and Harbour Bridge.

I love how you've caught the confidence with which she transports her cargo through the city - chin up, with energy and purpose. Funny, too how similar all the downtowns of the world look - I would swear this was a street in Chicago. It's a great shot!

Classic street scene ... such a beautiful urban slice of life ... that wedge of light behind her is terrific ... super sharp detail and perfect DOF to capture all that the eye can see!

@Ron: Thanks for your words of approval on this one, Ron. The way you describe it is essentially what I was aiming for. I was able to bring out the detail in that bright area of the pavement by using Adobe Camera RAW's (Photoshop CS3) highlight recovery feature.

I must admit I am uneasy taking candid street shots and, every time I see one like this, I kick myself for being that way. And, of course, unless she works for Canon and has eagle eyesight, she thought you were looking for the Bridge!
