About Andrew Gould
In the centre of Australia - photograph by Cecilia Gould I've been keen on photography since I was in my early twenties, but it was my changeover to digital in mid 2003 that this turned into an absolute passion, virtually overnight. For the first time, I had total control over the process from beginning to end, with postprocessing (of course) being at least half the story. I am so impressed with the quality of images here on aminus3, the interaction between users, and with the site, itself. It really is great to be here. My first series of photographs are selections from my best images from 2003 to the present. Following this, I will be uploading current photos, in an attempt to be more in keeping with the spirit of a photoblog. Please feel free to write comments in Spanish, which is my other language, if this is more convenient. I also understand French, Portugese and Italian, so comments are welcome in these languages, too. See my new general photo gallery at: http://andrewgould.zenfolio.com (although it's still under construction). Photography EquipmentEarlier photos taken with a Minolta 7Hi, which has a 28-200mm equivalent zoom in 35mm format. This is now a standby camera, as I now go everywhere accompanied by my Canon 350D and Sigma 18-200mm F3.5-6.3 DC zoom (equal to 28-300mm in 35mm format). I also have a 50mm f1.8 Canon, which makes a lovely 80mm portrait lens in this format. |
