I like the play of colors from yellow orange to blue to pink. The boat sand and water all come together for a simple yet rich image.

Thanks to all of you who have commented. I must say that I'm overwhelmed by the response I've been getting since joining aminus3. This is a great community!
A point about the photo:
The only doubt I've had about it, myself, is the bright bit at the top. I guess either none of you find it really distracting, or if you've thought about it, you feel that it is a minor blemish, all things considered.
Any opinions on this aspect of the photo? (Now I'm really asking for it!)

Beautiful tones and overall composition, Andrew. The lighting ijn the bottom and top right corners is especially striking.

Great picture by its simplicity, colors, composition, etc. I find the top right bright area being a counterpoint to the bright area on the left - by the boat's bow.

I was scrolling through your portfolio page, and this photo really "jumped out" at me. It has it all - excellent composiiton, balance, colour, framing - superb - you took such an ordinary object and turned it into a piece of art, well done!
