Uluru/Ayers Rock

Posted by Andrew Gould (Sydney, Australia) on 8 July 2007 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio.

Another in this series from central Australia, taken in July 2003. It has an official double name (Pitjantjatjara aboriginal and English). The local Pitjantjatjara people consider the rock sacred, and have been its guardians for at least the last 20,000 years.

I would like to keep in touch with members of the aminus3 community.
