Hills of Valparaíso (2)

Continuing on a walk around the hills of this UNESCO World Heritage listed site.

Siguiendo con nuestra caminata por los cerros de esta cuidad, que está incluida por UNESCO en el listado del sitios que forman el Patrimonio Cultural de la Humanidad.

Thank you for yesterday and today's photos. Valparaiso is a place I've heard of but not thought about much. You have caused me to look, and now I feel all the "richer" for knowing something about this place. I didn't know it is a UNESCO World Heritage site before this; and I googled it and did some reading. A fascinating history.

@Viewfinder: Thank you for your words. Up in these hills, it's quite run down, as you can see in the photos. Nevertheless -- or maybe even because of this -- it has so much charm. I can't wait to go back next time to go image hunting there.

Such a character-full 'haven' of relaxation for these 2 lovely creatures! :) I have never been to Chile personally, but this certainly looks a fascinating place to visit!

@Rebecca: It is fascinating -- and I think this is especially so for a photographer. There's so much colour and variety there.
