Great POV! Interesting composition!

@Myst: Thank you. The hills here (as shown in some of the previous photos in this series) make it easy to find an interesting POV, looking straight up or down.
Well seen and captured. I'm fond of such closeup of architecture particularly when there is so much character from the ageing process.

@tengtan: Thanks. There's certainly a lot of that ageing process you refer to here, I can tell you.
I like window and door captures, I'm not too sure why though, maybe it's the mystery of what's behind them! and this is no exception, it's got me wondering. Nice on Andrew.

@MaryB: Interesting that you mention the idea of wondering what's behind the windows, etc., because now I think about it, I guess I have the same fascination with these as you do.
magical, this looks like an art work...

@Babul Bhatt: Thank you, Babul. This was afternoon light -- 5:22pm, acording to the full EXIF information. That helped.

@kmf: Thanks!
Great shot Andrew! Love your comp on this one!!! Now I doubt I would've even seen the picture in that!!! LOL :). I'm so bad at architecture or anything without living, breathing creatures/people in them!!!! hahaha.

@Mandy: Thank you, Mandy. Well, I doubt that I'd get all those child and baby shots as you do, so we're even! Seriously, though, I feel it's just a matter of interest and looking carefully. I'll tell you what the advantage is though with architecture... It doesn't get up and run all over the place!
Interesting compo!

@Paulo: Thank you. The angle helped me here. I was looking down from a walkway and lookout belonging to one of the funicular railways, and I had a wonderful sweeping view of the streets immediately below. It was easy to isolate this with my all purpose Sigma 18-200mm lens (=28-300 in 35mm format).
wow....

@alex: I guess you like it then! Thanks!
These old towns and houses quite often present interesting subjects. I love to shoot them too.

@Shuva: The old towns and buildings are one of the reasons I'm fascinated by your country, and would like to take photographs there sometime in the future.
I dropped by earlier but my post didn't take I guess. I like the contrast between the window and the side of the building. What also stands out are the bottles. Nice height in this picture too!!!

@Lost Valley: I like the bottles, too. Their presence helped motivate me to take this. The height, obtained from being on a walkway leading into the funicular railway that we were about to take to go back down to the port again, really helped here.
i totally dig the washed out colors in this photo. Your composition is cool too.

@Rabbit: Maybe these colours will inspire you in the creation of one of your pieces! Thanks for the comment.
Love the bottle collection, you captured this perfectly!

@Dawn Sutherland: Thanks, Dawn. The bottles are the icing on the cake here for me!
Me gusta mucho esta, las líneas, los colores y los objetos de la ventana son muy atractivos!
