@Lost Valley View: Thanks for the comment!
I find the picture a little dull in presentation, probably a little crank in levels can help.

@Shuva: I do appreciate your opinion on this one. I was trying to present it as I saw it at the time, which was quite somber looking. I'm not in front of my own laptop with its super sharp screen at the moment. A little later on tonight when I am, I'll try playing with the levels and will then come back here to tell you how it worked out...
...I'm back after trying what you've suggested, and you're right in that it can look more dramatic and have richer colours with some manipulation of levels. Thanks for the idea.
I love the green's and red's in this one Andew.

@Mandy: Thanks. As you can see in this series, it's just colour everywhere in this area of Valparaíso, and the fact that a lot of it's faded and peeling gives it a certain kind of charm.
Bonito registo, Andrew! Bom contraste de cores! O pormenor do cão (perro) está bem apanhado ;)

@framboisine: Merci beaucoup, Françoise!
That green is a lovely colour, I love the way the dog feels safe just to lie there relaxing.

@MaryB: Thank you, Mary. The dog was a lucky addition for me... but there's almost always a dog (or cat) available in the hills of Valparaíso, as you can see from many of the previous posts in this series!
i really like old buildings with odd color doors - It makes them so interesting. I also like your composition with the doggie ;D Tiz a grand shot!
