A few streets away from where I live, there's what appears to be a rather run down looking boarding house. This day, as I was walking past it, these two men saw me with the camera and asked me to take their photo...

@Manuela Photography: What happened was that the way they asked me to take the photo sounded almost like they were making a bit of fun of me for walking around with a camera, so I didn't take it too seriously. Then I didn't get round to processing the photo for a while. You have made me think about it, and I'm going to print out some copies for them and go round there.
Great shot, you can't make this sort of scene up

@Chris Sullivan: Interesting comment, Chris, because I guess that's it's best virtue. I almost didn't upload it, as I'm not totally happy with the sharpness of the faces, but then I thought about the authenticity of this contentwise, and decided to do so.
Singlets and stubbies. Did you notice if they were wearing thongs or Blundstones Andrew? :)
I agree with Chris. A fantastic portrait.

@Organik Mum: Thanks for your approval here. I can't remember anything about their footwear and I don't have any full length shots of them, either, but it's an interesting question, as workboots or thongs (the latter being called "flipflops" in some other countries) would seem to be really the only appropriate options.
Jeep; Andrew, great shot.
