Watsons BayPosted by Andrew Gould (Sydney, Australia) on 12 October 2007 in Cityscape & Urban and Portfolio. Taken just a few minutes after yesterday's photo. If you turn your back on this scene and walk out of the park (i.e., towards the camera position here) and cross the road, you'll be up at The Gap, from where the two previous day's photos were taken. Water on both sides because this part of Sydney's Eastern Suburbs ends in a narrow peninsula not much further north from here (out of the right side of the photo). The water you see in this present photo is part of Sydney Harbour, and that's the city centre in the distance, with Centrepoint Tower to the left. 2/3 of a stop underexposed to catch the highlights. Shadows brought out later with the shadow/highlight filter in Photoshop. Sydney, May 2007 Sigma 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 Please see my photojournal on my website, where I am now posting: http://www.andrewgouldphotography.com/Galleries/Photojournal
