Pygmy Marmoset

Posted by Andrew Gould (Sydney, Australia) on 17 October 2007 in Animal & Insect and Portfolio.

This is a repost of the photo that I just removed in error, momentarily confusing it with the next day's upload that still remained unseen by the aminus3 community. Replacing today's photo is easy enough, but what I feel very bad about is that I've lost the kind comments that I had received and had not yet responded to. There was one comment from an aminus3 member whose name I hadn't seen before, and can now not remember. This is the worst part of it. All I can say is sorry.

Here's the photo of this monkey, which is the world's smallest.

Taken in the Mogo Zoo on the New South Wales South Coast in July 2007. This zoo specialises in rare species. On this page of the zoo's website you can read about this little monkey and even hear its call:

Thanks for visiting my pages. I welcome all comments and any constructive criticism.

Thursday 24th of June:
Just returned last night from the trip to Northern Australia, during which I was hardly able to get online at all. Thanks for all the comments lately. It will take me a few days, but I'll catch up with return visits to your pages.
