At Botany Bay

Posted by Andrew Gould (Sydney, Australia) on 10 March 2008 in Lifestyle & Culture and Portfolio.

Most of the photos from my local beach, Brighton on Botany Bay, Sydney, have been of people without giving very much in the way of context. Here's one, though, that shows a wider view, with the entrance to the bay in the background. That's where Captain Cook entered in April 1770.

Taken on the 9th of March 2008 at 5:41pm.

Here's an older one taken in the same place. You can see the entrance to the bay again in the distance.
