Outside the Sydney Town Hall on Saturday 10th of April (12:15pm). The steps of this building were full of young people dressed up like the ones you see here. I have no idea what they were there for. Sigma 18-200mm f3.5-6.3 DC OS

Maybe they were there for you! Sometimes we just have to do some different things, change life a little and be more child like. It could be fun. Well done!

hahah - very cool and bright outfits...they must've been having some sort of parade. Great colours.

Lovely and interesting shot. The colours are just great. Like the smokers smoke, sort of adds to the spirit of the moment.

cool street shot. i don't think i've seen someone use a hula hoop in a long time.

Well composed and timed shot. The hula-hoop girl stands out against the shadows of the building, and you have captured just enough of the other people to create the mood. I love the capture of smoke also. Well done.

I love coming across unexpected happenings like this . . I met a guy dressed as a chicken yesterday and he may have been part of this lot!

@Ronnie 2¢: Yes, unexpected happenings are a big thrill for me, too, and I try to be as ready as possible to capture them.
"A guy dressed as a chicken"? You've had me thinking of this Woody Allen joke all day with that, so here it is in his words (from the movie Annie Hall):
-I, I thought of that old joke, y'know, this... this guy goes to a psychiatrist and says, "Doc, uh, my brother's crazy; he thinks he's a chicken." And, uh, the doctor says, "Well, why don't you turn him in?" The guy says, "I would, but I need the eggs."
They sure are dressed up in wild attire. I wonder what was going on?
