Cool shot

Really like the feel (that the construction fencing and its graphics provide) that somebody is watching you (and they're completely oblivious to it!!). Nice balance between highlights and shadows and very little (if any) visible noise at ISO 1000! (I really do like my EOS 40D ... you also?) Very cool "street scene" shot!

@Ron: Glad you like it, Ron. About the shadow /highlight balance, put it down to the 40D's great exposure latitude, especially in its highlight tone expansion mode and the control that Adobe Camera RAW/Photoshop CS3 gives in this, too. And I can thank Camera RAW again for the noise reduction, where I raised the luminance reduction control a fair bit, although, as you know, this camera is pretty good in the noise department at high ISO. And yes...I Love my 40D!
A very well captured street scene, I like the angle you chose and the use of light! The wall makes the atmosphere so cool!!!

Great shot, I like the moment you've caught. So typical of business people, oblivious to their surroundings, only worrying about closing the next deal. Well captured.

Nice moment. I especially like the right part with 2 men heads in a circle and the man in the advertisement behind beeing in the middle. You could even keep only that part, or cut the man on the white vertical line and keep the text. But this is just variations...

Hey Andrew it's been forever, glad you're back...or that you'd dropped in and reminded me...I adore this street scene...messages are always so much clearer when you can observe undisturbed...Bravo for this!

@Lorraine: I missed you writing this comment only by a few minutes, I think! I was a bit busy for a while, but I'll try not to stay away for too long in the future. Thanks for dropping by!
