Rich dog...

Well, at least its owner probably has a dollar or two, unlike the previous day's poor dog's owner. Did you see him and his owner? If not, just click back one day.

Taken yesterday in the Sydney city centre. I was passing through very briefly, with no time at all to wander the streets in search of images. As soon as I saw this little dog, though, I thought of the homeless man from the day before...

Hi Andrew - nice follow up and a complete contrast from yesterday's photo. Strange to see the dog without a lead??

@dobbino: Thanks, Rob. Funny how I happened upon these two little dogs -- both with coats on -- one after another, but in such different circumstances.

About the lead, yes -- and in the middle of a busy city. Seemed to be well trained, though.

I love the compliment of the purple "coat" and the yellow elements in the frame. The bicycle reflection makes the picture for me!

@Tracey: Thanks, Tracey. I think the reflections are just enough. In the other shots (which I didn't keep) the doors were closed, and I thought the reflections were overpowering. Then someone went in, and the doors were open for a moment. I liked the look of that better and quickly took advantage of the situation.

i wonder if he's going in to make a deposit or a withdrawal. ;) does provide a great contrast to yesterday's shot. some people spend way too much money on their pets, i've heard of people even willing huge sums of money to their pets. nice composition, colors, processing.

When I see dogs "decked" like this I start wondering: "Do they really want that coat? Are dogs meant to wear coats?" Maybe the dog is thinking, while waiting for the owner to come out with cash, of the next treat....a saussage or dog-food?
