Chinese cuisine

Taken on the 26th of May 20008 in Hurstville, Sydney. With the large influx of migrants from Hong Kong in the last few years, the Hurstville shopping area has virtually become another Chinatown.

I would like to keep in touch with members of the aminus3 community.

Excellent image, Andrew! There's so much going on in this scene, but my eye is immediately drawn past the ducks hanging in the window to the man behind the counter with the cleaver ... working to feed all of these people waiting in line. Very well done ... a picture that tells a story!

@Ron: Thank you, Ron. Should I admit that I was concentrating on the man looking in? The raised cleaver was just good luck!

Nice moment, you have captured. Ron was captivated by the cleaver guy, while I was captivated by the guy looking in the window. Yup a great street scene. Good one.

Cool! There's something about the guy's shadow that adds an interesting perspective.

@Ken McCoy: Thanks, Ken. I thought the man and the shadow added something to it, myself, and because of this, didn't even end up keeping the other shot I took with the shopfront clear.

I'm glad you supplied a link for this with todays image! I do agree, it is a great companion photo to the one shown for today. The shadow i just love...it gives it a 'twist' somehow!
