In Chinatown - 2

Another one from Chinatown, San Francisco, taken on 29th of November 2007.

By the way, these Buddhist nuns who appear so solemn here in the street, laughed and joked together as they looked at the merchandise in the shop where we next saw them. A really unexpected difference!

In case anyone asks about the use of 1600 ISO, I must have had it set for an interior shot. I certainly do recall that when I turned and saw these nuns approaching, I had to react immediately to get the picture. (A little luminance noise reduction used in Adobe RAW, and then more selective noise reduction done on the TIFF in Photoshop.)
