University of New South Wales at night

I took this last week on a late afternoon walk around the campus. For some reason, they've recently covered the lights on either side of this main walkway with red plastic, so this is actually how it looks after dark. You'll note the slow shutter speed, made possible by my Sigma zoom, that has an image stabilizer.

I would like to keep in touch with members of the aminus3 community.

no puedo definir con palabras los fantásticos colores y tonos de esta imagen.
sin dejar de lado la composición...
por cierto , como tenias el "white balance" para conseguir esta impressionante luz magenta?
oye , el objetivo cumple con su cometido en el aspecto de estabilización,pero ¿ has notado algun problema con el autofocus ?
ya te contaré por qué te hago esta pregunta,pero prefiero no darte pistas...

@elmenut: Gracias por el comentario. Me alegra que te guste.

Como saco todo en RAW, siempre tengo el balance de blancos en automatico. Luego, en Adobe RAW, si es necesario hago algunos ajustes, aunque en este caso, no cambié nada. El efect se debe al color del plástico rojo que tienen alrededor de las luces.

Había leído algo sobre las quejas de algunos dueños de este lente o del modelo anterior sin estabilización, (ahora no me acuerdo qual era). Por lo general, no tengo ningún problema con el autoenfoque. Puede ser que de vez en cuando no resulte bien por algún avería de su sistema de autofoco, o capáz que se deba a un error de mi parte.

El lente dar resultados bastante nítidas, especialament en sus puntos extremos de gran angular y telefoto. Un zoom alta calidad de menor rango podría ser más nítido, pero este zoom me conviene mucho para el tipo de fotografía que hago.

If any non Spanish speakers are wondering what this is about, I've answered saying that the white balance was on auto as usual for my RAW shots, and no changes were made to that in processing, and that my lens does focus very well almost all the time, despite some claims from other users that I've seen on the Internet, that this lens -- or was it the previous model without autofocus? -- does not focus well a lot of the time.
