City station

@dj.tigersprout: It was actually quite cool down there that day,DJ, but I know what you mean. Glad you like it. I decided to make the most of the fct that I had to use a slow shutter speed under those circumstances. I might have used a much higher ISO with the 40D -- but then some security guard might have come up and questioned me -- even though it is apparently not illegal to phtograph inside a station in this country. So yes, I still love it, although I'm sure I'll still be getting good use out of the 40D, too.

@JJ: Thanks for the comment, JJ. Museum Station is part of the Cty Circle, which goes through Town Hall, as well. Sydney doesn't have a true subway system. The normal trains jsut go underground in this circuit round the centre. The Eastern Suburbs Lines has a few underground stops on its way into the city, too. Apart from that, it's all above ground. The train system is becoming quite inadequate for the rapidly growing population, and it's not clear what plans the state government has for future expansion. There have been studies done and warnings about this problem.
