Chess in the street

Taken this afternoon in Pitt St Mall in the Sydney city centre. This is two blocks of Pitt St which is pedestrian only. I've previouly posted quite a few shots taken here. Plenty of musicians and other street performers there today. This was my best shot, though.

I would like to keep in touch with members of the aminus3 community.

An unusual street shot, Andrew. Most photographers would have choosen to show the people watching or the players. It's hard showing both at the same time. You somehow managed.

@Mirko Herzner: Thanks for your interesting observation here, Mirko. On first viewing it myself, I thought that the cutting off of the heads had been a bit of a mistake. Ater some consideration, though, I decided I did like it.

Before this finished loading, I thought they were watching a guy chip out of a bunker on Pitt Street . . they have the same stance as gawpers everywhere !
