I like this shot as it shows the musicians being really 'into it'. Even though the perspective is quite usual for concert shots, I think it works out very good here. I don't think this would work as good if it was shot straight on...

@Mirko Herzner: Thanks, Mirko. I found this space in the crowd as I walked in at the left side of the stage, and shot from there. I'm pleased that I was able to get a good view of the players between the microphones and music stands, which are "the enemy" in this type of shooting environment, in my experience.

Thanks for the comment over at vfxy! I love how each face in this photo has a different expression...the puffed cheeks of the trumpet, the drawn in cheeks of the sax, the tight lips of the drummer, relaxed mouth of the cello (?). Well captured! I wish I could hear them play. I LOVE music!

I agree with Mirko. Great angle for this shot. It makes it more interesting and you did a great job getting an unobstructed view of everyone in the band. Great colors too!

Wow! This is so colourful and vibrant. Always love to see musicians in action, and this is no exception. And you can see this was taken with the DSLR.
